As part of JNDC’s commitment to bridge building both within and beyond the Jewish community – and to promoting economic vitality in West Rogers Park — JNDC is facilitating connections between the Jewish community and the Northside Business Opportunity Center (NBOC), a business incubator run under the auspices of the West Ridge Chamber of Commerce. JNDC has connected both individuals with start-ups and Jewish educational institutions to the incubator.

NBOC is affiliated with – and draws resources from — 1871, Chicago’s nationally recognized digital startup business-innovation center.

NBOC is the only city-funded business incubator on Chicago’s north side. JNDC had a hand in its creation, submitting a letter of community support for the Chamber’s proposal to Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection.

Funded by the City to expand business activity and spur economic growth in the West Rogers Park area, NBOC provides members with one-on-one mentoring, educational workshops, customized marketing assistance, and an array of other tools to assist would-be entrepreneurs.

Membership in the incubator is free. Those interested may apply here.
